Helping Organizations, Teams, and Leaders Reach Their Peak

Helping Organizations, Teams, and Leaders Reach Their Peak

How To Lead Forward

Your success is our success

Building viable organizations and teams demands a sense of craftsmanship.  For the leader, it requires passion, humility, a will to succeed, and some grit.  It also requires knowing what tools, techniques, and approaches work best in a given environment.

We can help your business, non-profit, or church leadership team achieve organizational wellness while fostering positive change that becomes an enduring culture.

Have you ever been on a team where chaos seems to reign and no one is really sure which direction the team is heading?

We can relate.

Team Coaching

There is a common misperception that project or functional teams are more prone to break-down than executive teams.  Nothing is further from the truth.  LeadPro Consulting offers tailored intervention services that will help your team start rowing in the same direction quickly.  As a Wiley Authorized Partner, we are equipped to offer The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive TeamTM in various formats to help teams take a look inside and acquire some immediate perspective.  “Five Behaviors” is based on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling book “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team” by Patrick Lencioni.  Through the lens of the “Five Behaviors,” teams will learn the importance of trust, constructive conflict, commitment, accountability, and paying attention to results.  A “Five Behaviors” seminar is perfect for an executive team off-site, governing board retreat, or to help a project team gain some much-needed focus in the heat of the moment.

Another tool that can help team members deepen their understanding of self and others is Everything DiSC©—one of the most popular personal development assessments in the world.  As a Wiley Authorized Partner for Everything DiSC©, LPC can not only deliver the iconic Workplace edition, but also the entire Everything DiSC© application suite:  Agile EQ™, Workplace, Management, Productive Conflict, Work of Leaders, Sales, and 363 for Leaders.  Contact us to explore what version might be the right solution for your exact situation.

Leader Coaching

Since the publishing of Daniel Goleman’s work on emotional intelligence more than 20 years ago, a wealth of research has been done that strongly suggests a leader’s Emotional Quotient (EQ) can be more predictive of success than IQ.  And unlike IQ, a person can learn how to measurably increase their EQ—a great starting point to understand a leader’s blind spots.

LeadPro Consulting works with leaders to help them gain awareness of their EQ and provides coaching related to various emotional domains that may be under-developed, or conversely, over-done.  In working with clients in this area, we use the Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0©(EQ-i 2.0©) instrument – a revolutionary assessment developed by noted psychologist Reuven Bar-On.  Since 1997, EQ-i 2.0©  has been recognized as a highly reliable and valid instrument that can help leaders increase their EQ.  LPC is certified to administer and interpret both the workplace and 360-degree versions of this highly-revealing instrument.

LPC also specializes in offering a service to clients known as Leader Assimilation (LA) – a systematic way to reduce the learning and emotional curve between leaders and their teams.  Developed by the U.S. Army to help commanders integrate more quickly and efficiently into new units, LA is a technique used by dozens of Fortune 500 companies to help new leaders flatten the learning curve and become more effective in as little as 90 days as opposed to six months—or more.

Let us help you on your journey to becoming more a more self-aware and capable leader.

“...Emotional Quotient” (EQ) can be more predictive of success than IQ."

Have you sat in meetings where the phrase “Change Management” was casually tossed around the room—and no one really understood what it meant?

Been there and heard that!

People Strategy and Change

Let us help you understand what Change Management is really about.  When applied to various large- or small-scale changes, Change Management can be a systematic approach that can help any organization anchor and reinforce change so that the benefits can be realized faster and increase the return on investment.

A common misconception of Change Management is that it is mainly about eliminating resistance.  Change Management will never do that.  But what it can do when properly applied is help individuals, sponsors, and stakeholders understand the full impact of organizational change and help to mitigate resistance.

LPC primarily uses Prosci® methodology when working with clients on Change Management engagements.  With over 20 years of corporate knowledge including the well-known ADKAR® model, we believe the application of Prosci® research-backed approaches and tools at the individual and organizational levels can produce lasting results and prevent “do overs” which can be costly for any enterprise.
